Raising Awareness With Comics

We have exciting news from the new Young Carers Books partnership and it comes in the form of a comic!

This describes the adventures of two groups of young carers in the fictional town of Morfield. It tells of the fun had by the characters in “The Late Crew” books from award-winning children’s novelist Rab Ferguson and in “Young Carers in Bunnyland" from illustrator and author Ana Graça. 

There are so many millions of young carers around the world and yet there is not so much recognition or representation of them in children’s literature. For primary school aged young carers, there is even less - and so Young Carers Books are setting out to change this.

You can help Ana and Rab start to do this by circulating their comic.
